This is a capstone course in which you will consider your professional goals and preparation. As part of that preparation, there will be graded opportunities to hone your written and oral communication skills as well as participate in constructive critiques

You will be building a portfolio of your papers and presentations.  As you complete an assignment, it will be filed in your portfolio in my office.  At the end of the quarter, you will retrieve your portfolio along with your grade.

Grading: Your work will consist of writing, evaluations, oral presentations, and participation.

There are 200 points available in the course. Letter grades will be assigned according to traditional lines: 100-90% A, 89-80% B, 79-70% C, 69-60% D. Plus/minus grading will be used.

Most assignments have an oral and written component as well as peer and self-evaluations, all of which are graded. The work distribution will be as follows:
