This tutorial is to be used in conjunction with the (Limited)Student Version of CambridgeSoft's Chem3D software.

DIRECTIONS: We have tried to design the tutorial for ease of navigation and so that you can use it in several ways:

  • As a step-by-step procedure;
  • As a reference when you need to refresh yourself on a particular aspect of Chem3D;
  • To illustrate concepts and/or answer various problems found in Bailey & Bailey Organic Chemistry: A Brief Survey of Concepts and Applications 6th Edition (Prentice-Hall)
